On November 26th Danuta Życzyńska-Ciołek presented a paper: ‘POLPAN Seminar: Interviews on POLPAN: ‘The history of one survey’ project’.

The Polish Panel Survey POLPAN has been conducted for more than 25 years, resulting in unique datasets and valuable academic publications. Nevertheless, every research project involves more than scientific results only. The core of such a project consists of people who carry it out, with their own experiences, dilemmas, memories and reflections.
A few months ago I started a project that aims at capturing the ‘human face’ of POLPAN by conducting a series of in-depth interviews with ‘POLPAN people’, who have been involved in this research, in different roles, since the very beginning. The selected interviews are available at the POLPAN website. At the seminar, I will present in more detail the idea and the current state of the project as well as some possible ways of its continuation. I hope that the seminar participants will share their comments and recommendations.
The seminar was held in Polish.
